Rosy Creek Farmstead
why?
"I farm because I care about my community. Just like my neighbors and friends, the land is part of my community. It completes the cycle of how a society needs to work."

Jake & Anna Greinetz
Jake and Anna Greinetz, owners of Rosy Creek Farmstead, met in 2020 while couchsurfing in California. They maintain a herd of goats, which provide meat and milk, and they make goat cheese from the milk. They also sell woven baskets.
They moved to the land seeking a more natural, seasonal way of life. The two discovered the farm’s direction after a neighbor offered them a few goats from the previous owner. This led them to shift from vegetable gardening to focusing on goats for meat and dairy, while keeping a small garden for personal use.
They are passionate about connecting people to the land and helping others learn to care for local nature, supporting spiritual, environmental, mental, and physical well-being.
